Okay, so it’s probably too confusing to explain, but I didn’t actually post that last blog entry…My new husband was a little over-eager to bring me back into the blogging world. Anyway, yes I am married, and yes, I really am back this time.
The wedding was great, being married is crazy and wonderful, and I’m not entirely sure what I want to blog about. I might just slack off. So here it is. My little bit of nothing for the day. Maybe I’ll be more forthcoming about my life and thoughts later.

Rear Window would have been a great choice. Stewart and Hitch made a great team (Vertigo, Rope, The Man Who Knew Too Much, etc)

Groundhog Day is the bomb. In fact, I just finished giving an hour-long presentation on the film to my Grad school film class. Is there really that much to discuss regarding Groundhog Day? Oh! Don’t even get me started…if you only knew. For more from Writer/Director Harold Ramis, check out a swell interview in the March, 2006 issue of The Believer. Best line in response to the interviewer’s question of whether Ramis is offended as a filmaker that many people go to the movies so that they “don’t have to think.” Ramis’s response: “No, I’m offended as a human being!”

Yes, the Cosby show was wholesome and presented a stable, successful black family on mainstream television, and for that I’ll give it props. It never seemed to you as though their story was too perfect to be true? How many American families, let alone black American families, actually live like that?
And yeah, Moonpie ice cream counts as food. Screw dairy, file it under the delicious food group. 🙂
